Coalition Comments on Cures 2.0 RFI
The Coalition for Pediatric Medical Research has submitted a response to a request for information from Congresswoman Diana DeGette (D-CO) and Congressman Larry Bucshon (R-IN) on a Cures 2.0 bill.
The Coalition engaged heavily on the bipartisan 21st Century Cures Act, enacted in 2016, and believes a Cures 2.0 bill presents an opportunity to address needs in child health research, including training and development of early-career researchers and strengthening how the National Institutes of Health (NIH) coordinates child health research priorities across Institutes and Centers.
