Coalition, Other Pediatric Research Leaders, Urge Congress to Protect Facilities & Administrative (F&A) Rates
The Coalition for Pediatric Medical Research today sent a letter to the leaders of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees urging that Congress include the longstanding prohibition on any unilateral changes to National Institutes of Health (NIH) Facilities & Administrative (F&A) rates in the Fiscal Year 2025 spending package currently being developed and debated on Capitol Hill.
This request is in response to the February 7th NIH guidance that would change all F&A rates to a flat 15 percent. This move would result in significant negative consequences to child health research efforts.
